Tales from Seahouses Bay
I created a 'hood (full details here) - it's a long-time itch that's finally been scratched - and before attempting to uploadit, I play-tested all twelve families for eight days on a one day rotation. I thought I'd share the lives of my little Simmies.
But first some background ...
"As the fishing dwindled and the youngsters moved away to college, never returning from the bright lights and bustle of the cities, Seahouses was slowly fading into obscurity.
Until the military base opened over the ridge and a developer saw a way to make a quick profit by building off-base accommodation around the bay.
Will the new developments be the saviour or final nail in the coffin for Seahouses?"
Seahouses is the old town on the ridge
Seahouses Bay is the new development
Original Seahouses Residents
Formed around the "Seahouses Salties", the childhood gang of Sean O'Mally, Hamish Cassidy and Geoff Mulligan. In addition to these three, it includes their parents (Shamus and Fiona O'Mally, Michael and Hannah Cassidy, and Donal and Rachel Mulligan), childhood sweathearts (now wives) (Donna Cassidy and Susanna Mulligan) and children born in Seahouses (Ronan and Violet Mulligan), as well as their nemesis Liam Flynn. This group was deeply affected by the tragic sailing accident that drowned Geoff, Susanna and Violet Mulligan
Military Personnel
Jessie McKay, Will Atkins, Alistair Stuart and Jane Stuart all met in boot-camp. Jessie and Alistair were fast-tracked through officer training. Jessie and Will deployed together before arriving in Seahouses Bay.
House-Warming Party
There was a house-warming party last night, so all the following have met Melissa Legrand, Ben and Paul Sergeant, Ronan Mulligan, Wes Cassidy, Jessie McKay, Will Atkins and Jane Stuart
And now for the tales ...
O'Mally Family (Sean, Katheryne, Patrick, Dougal and Flora)
Sean: We moved here from the city for the healthier living several years back when the new town was just being developed. Rather hoped Mum would help Kat with the new baby - Patrick - back then ... perhaps the air here is a little too healthy!
Katheryne: You mean when I'm not giving birth? I like to potter around the garden, trimming the bushes and planting seeds.
Patrick: We've got a beach ... and woods ... and a SECRET military base with SPY planes and SPECIAL FORCES choppers!
Monday thru Wednesday - Total chaos! Katheryne (Family, Graduate 3, Have Baby) struggled to cope with the housework, pregnancy, baby (Flora), toddler (Dougal), and trying to get the rebellious Patrick (Grow Up, A+) to do his homework. Sean (Fortune, Law Enf 10, Gain Skill) rang in "sick" on Wednesday morning to help Kat out and spent most of the day potty training Dougal and teaching him to walk.
Thursday thru Sunday - Slightly less chaos! Having enjoyed family life so much on Wednesday, Sean quit work on Thursday, Dougal learnt to talk, Flora grew up well, Fiona was born and Patrick got an A+, so not a bad day! Dougal grew up well on Friday and moved into his older sister's (Freya's) vacant room - purple wallpaper, yuck! Flora learnt to walk, talk and use the potty. Patrick is spending a lot of time on the phone with Keira. On Sunday, Keira came over to play with Patrick.
Monday - Flora grew up well in the morning, just in time to catch the school bus. Dougal moved into his brother's room; Flora quite likes Freya's choice of wallpaper. Fiona grew up well in the afternoon, and, with only the toddler to cope with, Kat urged Sean to get his old police job back. Patrick came home, did his homework and grew into a well-balanced teenager (Knowledge, Adventurer 10) (must have been his Dad's good influences over the past few days) and was asked out after dinner to the pool by Keira Reilly
Freya O'Mally & Wes Cassidy
Wes: WHAT? No way! The brat got the house? Hope she's good at DIY! Time to move on I guess ...
Freya: That scoundrel, 'Handyman' in deed! How could Granny do this to us ... the shame on our family. He's got to go ... but the - my - house is such a mess, how will I ever get it back to a liveable state?
Wes: ... but to where? And I suppose I do owe it to Fi to finish her house.
Freya: But he is kinda cute ... and I'll need someone to help pay the bills while I finish school ... perhaps I'll let him stay ... just while I get myself sorted.
Monday - Fireworks! (So much so I've had to switch free-will off!)
Monday night - Freya (Romance, Criminal 10, Win Fight With Wes) storms out of the house; in the morning Wes (Pleasure, 50 Dream Dates, Date) has to report her missing.
Tuesday - Despite Wes being nice to Freya (cooking meals, cleaning, fixing her room up, staying well out of her way), she explodes again and storms off into the night; in the morning it's another call to the cops to report her missing.
Wednesday thru Friday - Afraid of what the cops will say if he has to report Freya missing a third time, but more from a sense of duty to Fiona's grandchild, Wes starts to patch things up with Freya - both their relationship and the house. By Friday the house fixed. Freya buys a guitar and finds pleasure both playing it and tormenting Wes while he's playing it by dancing around in her underwear.
Just as well Wes was concerned about what the cops would say as Freya is a petty criminal in her spare time (which she's getting good at). Despite everything, Freya completes school as an over-achiever, and is promoted to a Con Artist. She's looking forward to becoming a Getaway Driver - she's had lots of experiencing hot-wiring Wes' truck to get to school and work this last week!
Saturday - The tension in the house is down from DefCon 1 to DefCon 3. Wes is being particularly nice - he's grown stubble (as Freya happened to mention she prefers men with beards) and wearing shades (again Freya mentioned she likes the nerdy look) but he's not sure he can pull the look off for long as his other friends think he looks like a jerk! Freya spent the day playing the guitar, to get his own back Wes dances (badly) around in his boxers. Freya gives herself a make over - teenage angst is out, straps, buckles, bob-cuts and boots are in.
Sunday - Freya spends most of the day on the phone and learning to cook. Wes spends the day out making new friends, as his DJ business is taking off (or it would if Freya would stop boosting his truck!)
Monday - DefCon 4. Freya makes Wes breakfast AND clears the dishes. A long session of telling jokes and attacking each other with pillows ensues. Wes is hoping that Freya won't find a boyfriend this Summer and throw him out of her house; Freya is hoping that Wes will hang around for the Summer. Freya got promoted to Getaway Driver.
Cassidy Family Home (Michael, Hamish, Donna and Mandy)
Michael: The village's not the same ... but the new estate has stopped the slide into oblivion as the youngsters were leaving for the city. My grand-son means well, but he's a bit ... misdirected.
(Hamish, Donna and Mandy start in the Family Bin)
Hamish: Donna felt ... 'trapped', and insisted we moved back to the city. She's much better now, especially since Mandy ... perhaps we'll move back one day.
Donna: Pah! Only when we inherit his father's house!
Mandy: It would be nice to live near the beach, but all my friends are in the city, so I can't decide. Either's fine by me really.
Monday thru Wednesday - Michael (Pleasure, Slacker 10, Grandchild) knew he was not long for the world, so spent his time sorting out his affairs, fixing the garden, calling old friends and generally watching the world go by.
Thursday - with his Dad very ill, Hamish (Knowledge, Max Skills, Gain Skill) convinced Donna (Pleasure, Culinary 10, Culinary Job) to "forgive and forget" whatever was the cause of her bad feelings towards his father and move into the family home along with Mandy (Grow Up, New Family Member). The "forgive and forget" part was never going to happen, but she did agree to move back to the family home. Michael passed away later that evening.
Friday thru Monday - Donna spent the inheritance modernising the house (especially the kitchen).
Donna got her dream job, while Hamish is being a house-husband (until Mandy becomes a teenager) and spends his time studying.
Mandy has fitted into her new school well, has made some new friends (mainly the O'Mally children) and has just come home with an A+
Mulligan Family (Donal, Rachel and Ronan)
Donal: Uh! What's that?
Rachel: Don't mind him, he's not been the same since the terrible tragedy. The drowning of course. His son, his son's wife and their youngest girl, terrible, terrible. But we still have Ronan, now that he's back from college ... and even brought some friends with him. Nice to see new faces in the town. But I could talk all day. Fancy a cup of tea? No? I have freshly baked biscuits.
Ronan: Yeah, my college dormies have moved here ... in one of the new town houses. It was their house-warming party last night ... got 'crashed' by the military guys and gals around midnight ... things got kinda wild after that.
Monday - Ronan (Popularity, Music 10, Resurrect Violet, Resurrect Susanna) knows from his studies of the Paranormal that there is a telephone that can be used to deal with Death to resurrect people, and he also knows he's only one career step away from obtaining it! But it requires $10k per person. Rachel (Family, 6 Grandchildren, Grandchild) works out that even if they sell everything in the house they can, use all their pension payments and Ronan's wages they'll never have enough to resurrect Violet, Donna and Geoff before they're joining them in the graveyard. They consider selling the house. Ronan starts painting, in the vain hope he can raise enough cash from selling masterpieces.
Donal (Fortune, Earn $100k, Grandchild) and Rachel have a "home-date" and retire for the evening. In the middle of the night, Donal wakes up knowing the answer to their financial problem - counterfeiting! Donal wakes Rachel and explains his plan, Rachel's not so sure, but when Donal says they'll only be giving the fake money to Death "and where's the real crime in that", she agrees. A midnight "home-date" later and they have enough aspiration points for the two counterfeiting machines they'll need. Exhausted, but happy, they have a long lie in!
Tuesday thru Thursday - Donal and Rachel put their plan into action.
After the first accident they buy a fire-alarm; soon they're on very good terms with the crew from the local fire-department! Pausing only to eat, take showers (to wash out the smell of smoke) and sleep - and with only one visit from the Sheriff's Office - what with the money from selling what they can, their pensions and Ronan's wages, by Thursday afternoon they have over $10k under the mattress. Thursday afternoon Ronan comes home carrying the precious telephone (having finally been promoted). Plans are made for the evening.
Thursday Night - Violet (Fortune, Earn $100k, College) is resurrected. Every one goes to bed happy, except for Violet who spends the night learning to cook, cleaning and applying for jobs - being offered one as a Security Guard.
Friday thru Monday - With Violet helping on the counterfeit machines (and her wage as a Security Guard - oh the irony!) and with Ronan being promoted with another bonus, late Monday they hit the second $10k mark. Violet went out for the afternoon with Jessie (who she has gotten to know well as Jessie jogs past the house each day) and came back knowing what it truly means to feel alive. She's wondering if Ben has the same relaxed attitude to his and Jessie's relationship as Jessie does.
Monday Night - Susanna (Knowledge, Adventurer 10, Adventurer Job) is resurrected. Much rejoicing ensues. Everyone heads for bed, except for Susanna who stays up catching up with the latest cooking techniques on the Yummy Channel.
Liam Flynn
Liam: I'll be joining this lot soon. But until then I'll keep things tidy as there are so few of us locals left.
Monday thru Friday - Liam (Fortune, Business 10, Become Vampire) when not contemplating his own mortality
spent most of his days chatting to random passer-bys (so much so that he now knows almost all the new estate residents) to the detriment of the flower-beds and hedges. But he found a pair of "wonder shears" and an "amazing sprinkler system" on-line, so no longer has to worry about the gardening. When not chatting during the day he fishes (8 old boots so far!) and at night he's Downtown - desperate to meet a vampire.
Friday night - Liam met Contessa Marylena King last night, and has a date with her tonight. Liam's fairytale came true! They fell in love, he invited her home, they made out, Marylena (Pleasure, Slacker 10) moved in and bit him, they woohoo'ed and the chimes went off (forgot to set her biological clock!)
Saturday thru Monday - Marylena has family money, so they've bought the old Sea House property (a pregnant vampire is really easy to play - sleeps all day and no motive decay at night!) Marylena spends her nights reading cookery books - her child will go to private school (or she'll bite the Head!) - and making out with Liam after he gets back from Downtown. Liam is worried about what will happen when the baby is born (as it'll need attention during daylight hours) so has started looking for the Gypsy when he's out-and-about
Melissa Legrand, Paul and Ben Sergeant
Paul: Oh my head! Why is it so bright? What am I wearing!
Ben: House-warming? More like house-wrecking, but what a great bunch the military guys ... and girls ... are. Jessie left her bubble-blower ... I'll take it back tonight ... who knows.
Melissa: Oh no! It can't be! But which one's the father?
Monday 7am (the morning after the house-warming the night before) - Ben (Fortune, Business 10, Date Jessie, Earn $) and Paul (Popularity, Athletic 10, Party, Meet New) did some tidying up then headed for work (business and athletics respectively).
Melissa (Knowledge, Max Skills, Marry Ben, Marry Paul) spent most of the day alternating between throwing-up and cleaning the toilet. Melissa took a job as a substitute teacher and immediately went on maternity leave.
Tuesday/Wednesday - Ben knew the child wasn't his as he'd spent the entire house-warming trying to get to know Jessie better blowing bubbles with her, and, just as things were getting interesting, he looked up and found the hot-tub already broken. So when Jessie invited him over Tuesday evening, on the pretext of returning her bubble blower, he jumped at the chance, stayed the night, and, over breakfast, accepted her offer to move in. Paul assumed the child was his (after all he'd woken up in Mel's underwear and in the same bed) and started adjusting his life-style for the new arrival - learning to cook, cleaning the house, etc. Mel spent the time eating, being sick and sleeping.
Thursday thru Saturday - Twins! Molly and Andrew. The days went past in a blur of diapers, work (for Paul), diapers, bottles, diapers, baths, diapers, sleep and diapers. Somewhere in there Paul accepted Mel's engagement proposal.
Saturday Afternoon - When Molly grew up into a bouncing RED-HEADED toddler, Paul began to have suspicions, but when he came home from work and Andrew had grown up well and looked nothing like him, he asked for a paternity test.
Sunday thru Monday - While Paul loves the twins (and helped potty train them both and taught Andrew to walk), the test came back negative, so he broke off the engagement and moved in with Siobhan, a promising young rookie he'd met (and has the hots for) at training. Mel is devoting herself to her kids (whoever the father may be), and has taught Molly to walk and both of them to talk. She's looking forward to being able to take them to school when she returns to (or more accurately starts) work. On Monday evening both Molly and Andrew grew up well.
Jessie McKay
Jessie: The town? The old part's quaint and stuffy, the new estate is very ... regimented. Lolz, how appropriate for a town being revitalised by the expanding military base. But, there are some "cuties" to amuse me ... speaking of which, I really need to get my bubble blower back.
Monday - Jessie (Romance, WooHoo 20, Go On Date, WooHoo) spends Monday at work, studying, eating , sleeping ... and dreaming of Ben
Tuesday - After work, Jessie invited Ben over - on the pretext of getting her bubble-blower back - but he seemed very keen and brought it back immediately. Jessie doesn't need a hot-tub to get things steamy.
Wednesday - Ben accepted Jessie's proposal (over breakfast) to move in. Both went to work in very good spirits, both got promoted. Ben came back with a mini-golf set his company had given him, and Jessie spent her bonus on a top-of-the-range weights machine. Working out does have some compensations.
Thursday - breakfast and work followed by a romantic dinner Downtown and ... fully platinum in the morning
Friday - breakfast, work and a late afternoon woohoo to celebrate Jessie's latest promotion. Ben stayed in to make some phone calls, while Jessie, Wes and Will took Abby out to play pool and cards; Jessie liberated Abby a bit more.
Saturday thru Sunday - Jessie and Ben decided to move into one of the old houses in Seahouses, with much more space for their growing collection of exercise equipment and a garden to put the newly obtained obstacle course in, and room for the (vital) hot-tub
The house also has a drive, and Ben finally gets the car he's been going on and on and on and on about. More work and play. Jessie jogs around the old town and meets Violet Mulligan on Saturday afternoon and again on Sunday.
Monday - Breakfast, work, dinner. Ben calls his brother Paul to find out what's going on with him and Mel, Jessie goes out on a date with Violet (one more notch on the "woohoo with 20 different sims tally stick")
Alistair, Jane and Zach Stuart
Alistair: Great town, close to the base, wonderful place to raise our children and continue the family military tradition
Jane: We just love it here.
Monday thru Thursday - (Thought this was going to be a "normal 2.2 kids" family!) Alistair (Family, Graduate 3, Baby, Promotion) and Jane (Family, Marry Off 6, Baby) adored Zach so much they decided to make another before Al went to work on Monday.
All was going well in their lives. Al working out and studying, Jane coping with the baby and pregnancy and even managing to make a few new friends to help Al's promotion prospects. Al got promoted (with a nice bonus to buy lots more baby things), and then Jane miscarried (so close to term that I thought the animation was the start of the birth video so saved the game! I like choosing the baby's sex to ensure a balance in the 'hood for future partners)
Friday - Al called in sick partly to help with Zach's birthday but mainly to console Jane, and they spent so much time kissing and cuddling that Jane fell pregnant.
Saturday thru Monday - Al went back to work while Jane took things easier - getting plenty of rest, eating well, playing with Zach, potty training him, teaching him to walk and talk. Zach now has a baby sister Zara.
Jane wants another baby, Al would like another promotion first; "Dingly, dingly, dong!" sounds like Jane got her way
Will and Mike Atkins
Will: YES SIR! Very nice town and estate. Anything else sir?
Mike: No, not the military ...
Will: ... of course you will!
Mike: ... more arty
Monday thru Wednesday - Will (Popularity, Military 10, Promoted) concentrated on his career in the Military,
while Mike (Romance, Music 10, First Kiss) finished his last few days at school with an A+
Thursday thru Saturday - Will continued to advance his career - afternoons training on his obstacle course, evenings out with old friends (Jessie and Wes) and a new (hot) female friend (Abby), while Mike spent his time painting, working at the Gas Station (Slacker career) and day-dreaming about Alon
Saturday evening - Mike finished his portfolio and applied for college, being accepted put him in a good mood and he finally had a successful date with Alon, and stole his first kiss. Will doesn't know if he's more appalled that Mike is taking an Art degree or that he kissed the paper boy!
Sunday - Mike moved out to college; Abby moved in with Will.
Will introduced Abby to the delights of on-line shopping, mainly at Sexy Sims.
Monday - Breakfast, work, relaxation. After dinner, Mike and Abby unpacked their new toys the postman delivered today. The rest of their evening is censored.
Tobias and Abby Omer
Tobias: College - tick. Job prospects - good. Married childhood sweetheart - tick. Children - definitely, at least 2 possibly 4 and soon.
Abby: College was fun, Toby needs to lighten up ... was the quick wedding such a good idea? I want to do so many things before settling down and starting a family!
(I was expecting Tobias and Abby to be fairly boring - woohoo, get pregnant, progress at work, deal with baby - the game had other ideas!)
Monday - Abby (Pleasure, Gamer 10, Gamer Job, Fears Baby) wanted to buy the house next to Jessie and Ben/Paul/Melissa - it seemed like the fun street. But Tobias (Family, Marry Off 6, WooHoo Abby, Baby) had different ideas, and bought the house two doors down from the Stuarts - a nice, young-family, friendly road. Abby was not impressed, and when the paper had an advert for a "Noob" in her dream job she took it. Tobias took a job in local politics.
Tuesday thru Thursday - Tobias wants Abby to get pregnant (he keeps going on about doing the school run),
Abby wants Tobias to stop going on about babies (and has started taking precautions, just to be on the safe side). Abby is a natural at her job and has been promoted twice in as many days. Tobias has dropped into the "breakfast, 9 to 5, dinner, network/study, plain woohoo, sleep" groove. On Thursday afternoon, Wes Cassidy walked past Abby's house - she desperately needed to get out and do something fun so invited him to shoot some pool down at the Mall. Wes' natural charm and boyish good looks kicked in, and before Abby realised what was happening, she was making out with Wes, like a couple of teenagers, in the Mall carpark, which confused her so she went home.
Thursday thru Saturday - Tobias is still in the "breakfast, 9 to 5, dinner, network/study, plain woohoo, sleep" groove, but without the woohoo part. Abby went out with Wes again on Thursday evening, determined that he was just going to be a good friend. After a game of pool and some cards, an oldie came on the jukebox and they were soon slow-dancing - hands all over each other. Even more confused, especially as Wes kept calling her "Freya", Abby went home. On Friday, Jessie (a friend of Wes) called Abby and suggested going down town. Abby agreed, and with Jessie, Wes and Will (who she has the serious hots for), played pool and cards and sang some duets, but by the end of the evening Abby was even more confused, especially about her sexuality, having made out with Jessie. On Saturday, Abby decided she needed a make-over (she no longer wanted to look the way Tobias liked, but the way she wanted to look) and, having spent the morning perfecting a new hairstyle and make-up, in the afternoon went clothes shopping. She ran into Will (who was hanging around the Mall on the off-chance of running into Abby as he also has the serious hots for her) and when Abby asked him for an opinion on a new Summer dress she was trying on, Abby discovered a whole new use for the changing room ... and lift ... and photo booth (that's a set of pictures she's never going to show her mother!)
Saturday evening - Tobias, out having a drink with a work colleague, saw a crowd, leering and cheering, around the photo booth and was stunned when Abby came out, closely followed by Will! He broke up with Abby on the spot and attacked Will (a fight which he obviously lost!). Back in the bar, he looked around for someone to share his woes with, but only found his brazen newly-ex to be "hot"!
Sunday thru Monday - Abby didn't come home (having moved in with Will). Tobias decided that drink was the best medicine and went on a bar-crawl. He's found a few new drinking-buddies and made some new female companions, but nursing an almighty hang-over on Tuesday morning, he's not sure he wants any of them as acquaintances, let alone friends. Tobias has some major life decisions to make!
Siobhan and Keira Reilly
Siobhan: I was young ... an intern at a big law firm and he was ... is ... I go 'mushy' just thinking about him! I was silly, of course he'd never have left his wife ... she had the money. But he's set me up and hopefully I can start a new life where my great-grand-parents were so happy.
Keira: Wanna play SSX3? Or I have lots of other toys and cool stuff!
(Initially I was going to leave Siobhan in the Family Bin (so she didn't run into Brandon autonomously) until I'd played Brandon to the point his storyline needed her presence - but where's the fun in that!)
Monday - Siobhan (Romance, Athletics 10, Athletics Job) and Keira (Grow Up, A+) moved in to the house
that Abby wanted next to Jessie and spent the day unpacking, looking for a job (Mascot, her dream career!), and studying.
Tuesday thru Thursday - Keira is settling in well at school and her grades are improving steadily. Siobhan's work is also going well, she brought Paul home, as he's a Starter for their A team. Keira seems to like him.
Friday - Paul's injured and Siobhan found his knee-brace! He offered her some personal, hands-on, body work-out after she finished training with the B squad - she's looking forward to that. Keira got an A+
Saturday - Siobhan had her (very) personal session with Paul after training this afternoon. Paul's having doubts that Molly and Andrew are actually his. Keira spent the day on the phone to Patrick O'Mally.
Sunday - When Paul called needing somewhere to crash while he sorted his life out, Siobhan agreed he could move in. Keira spent the day at Patrick's playing cops and robbers. Siobhan and Paul spent the day playing doctors and nurses.
Monday - Keira grew up well (Knowledge, Medicine 10) in the morning and immediately realised what her mother saw in Paul. Cornering Paul on the decking, she flirted outrageously and Paul was never so glad that a school bus arrived on time! What with that, and Siobhan continuously going on about "Brandon this, and Brandon that", Paul needs to find his own space ... and fast! After dinner, Keira, feeling somewhat put-out by her mother's and Paul's amorous activity on the sofa, called Patrick O'Mally and (wondering what he looked like in trunks) invited him to go swimming. Pleased at his obvious reaction (and amused by his embarrassment) to her new bikini,
she had her first kiss - somewhat awkwardly, but she's sure they'll get better with practice. She has plans for this summer - involving the late-evening pool sessions, the outdoor hot-tub and Patrick.
Brandon Olfonse
Brandon: About as low as you go ... the company was bought out ... I was surplus to requirements. Then she discovered my indiscretion and threw me out with nothing but a single simolean. I doubt Siobhán will want me now ... I don't even have her number ... but I'm here (with my single simolean) ... and I will re-gain my true love, my child and my fortune!
(I was expecting Brandon be more fun to play, but working 8am to 5pm leaves very little time for anything but the basics of eat, wash, chat to the paperboy/postman and sleep)
Monday thru Thursday - Brandon (Fortune, Business 10, Earn $, Marry Siobhan) had five jobs in four days! None of the ones on offer on Monday had work on Tuesday. The ones on Tuesday had no work on Wednesday (although he managed to squeeze in a late night shift on Tuesday as a criminal!) Wednesday's afternoon job had no work on Thursday (having slept in late from the night-shift he missed the car for the two that did!) On Thursday he took a job as the "Crispy Fries Packet"
acting it may not be, but a steady (well-paid) job it is. Lots of time spent kicking the Flamingo (for fun)
Friday thru Sunday - Promotions after a long day's work on both Friday and Saturday are swelling the house-fund. Sunday was a well deserved day off - to make lots of phone calls, jog around the block
and get well refreshed and in a good mood for Monday
Monday - Another early morning jog, followed by a long day at work as a bit-part actor, and the evening recuperating
Mike at College
(Playing one semester per 'hood day)
Sunday (Term 1, Semester 1) - Mike moved in with his stuff from his room and was amused by the streaker. He registered for an Art major. Mike's missing Alon, as he didn't go to college. (Think I have an InTeen issue - Alon arrived at College still as a teenager!) Mike checked out the Campus Coffee Shop (empty) and Campus Lounge, lots of hot men at the Lounge and he got some numbers. Both of Mike's professors are old men. Mike wrote his term paper, painted, attended lectures, studied with a random passer-by dressed as a llama, and is still missing Alon. He made some phone calls, made some friends, went to the Lounge where he met some of the Greek House boys (got their numbers), attended final exam, got a GPA 4.0 and made the Dean's list; but more importantly got some money!
Monday (Term 1, Semester 2) - Mike called Castor Nova from the Greek House boys and got to know him well.
They went on a dream date and put the photo booth to good use. Mike wrote his term paper, attended lectures, did an assignment, and dated Castor some more. Mike also hit on and dated one of his professors! Castor doesn't like "fatties" so Mike took up jogging. Mike attended his final exam, got a GPA 4.0 and made the Dean's list again.
So that was the first 8 days in the lives of the residents of Seahouses Bay.
